Children can come to school on Friday 1st February 2019 wearing something Orange (or something with bright colours) to help support the Charity Muscular Dystrophy UK.  A donation of £1.00 will to go to the ‘Love for Louis Family Fund’.

Class 5 are booked to go to the Hancock Museum on Tuesday 22nd January 2019.  This trip has been arranged to enhance their learning and understanding of their new topic ‘Land of the Pharaohs’.  The children will see exhibits in relation to the Pharaohs and will partake in a workshop.

Year 1 children are booked to go to Preston Park Museum on Tuesday 15th January 2019.  This is to enhance their topic of ‘changes over time and the lives of children in a different era.  They children will also take part in a toy workshop and go back in time and live the life of a child 100 years ago.

Its the last day of the this very busy term and its Christmas Party Day.  Children can wear party clothes or a Christmas jumper, whichever they prefer. We would ask for a donation which will go towards equipment for school.

Our KS2 Christmas Nativity will take place on Wednesday 19th December at 2.00pm.  Pop the date into your diary and enjoy this special play

Our annual Christmas Fair will be held on Friday 7th December from 2.00pm. Lots of Christmas goodies on sale together with refreshments. More information to follow

On Friday 16th November the Travelling Book Fair will be in school.  School will also be supporting Children in Need.  The children can come to school in non-uniform for a suggested donation of £1.00 which will go to Children in Need.

You are invited into school from 2.30 onwards to browse the book fair and enjoy a cup of tea and coffee with some cake.
