School will be organising a fund raising event to support Macmillan coffee and cake morning. More details to follow

Sports day will be held on Wednesday 20th July. The gates will open at 1.05 pm for a 1.15 pm start. Children to come dressed in their own PE kits

It is that time of the school year when we say goodbye to our Year 6 children and celebrate their achievements during their time at school and wish them good luck moving onto their new schools.

On Monday 11th July our children will be having a ‘moving up’ morning in their new classroom with their new teacher.

Thursday 30th June there will be a welcome meeting for new reception children.  This meeting will be held via zoom.  Details will be sent out nearer the time.

Year 3/4 class will be going to Seaham beach on Thursday 30th June 2022. This trip will enhance Class 4’s Geography topic and children will be exploring the physical processes that shape our coastline. We will be investigating, in detail, erosion, transport (longshore drift) and deposition processes. We will also be finding out more about hard and soft engineering approaches to protect our coastline.

School will be closed on Friday 27th May for a teacher training day.  It will reopen on Monday 6th June.

To celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee school has arranged a day full of fun activities for the children including a Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Party in the Playground on Wednesday 25th May.

Our KS1 children will be completing their SAT’s week beginning Monday 16th May.

Our Year 6 children will be sitting their SAT’s week beginning Monday 9th May.
