Year 1 and Year 2 will be performing Baubles as their Christmas play. There will be two performances at 10.00am and 2.00pm.  Tickets will be available nearer the time.

Our Reception children will be singing Christmas Carol’s for their parents on Thursday 9th December at 2.00pm.  Tickets will be issued nearer the time

Our school Christmas lunch will be on Wednesday 8th December.  If you child is on a packed lunch but would like a Christmas lunch, please let the school office know.

School will again be supporting this national fund raising day on Friday 19th November.  Children can come to school  in their own clothes and make a donation on the day to the charity.

On Tuesday 12th October there will be a opening evening for new parents to the school.  This will start around 4.00pm.  More information will be sent home nearer the time.

It is the annual whole school photograph day on Thursday 14th October.

We are very excited to welcome children’s author Anna James to our school.  Anna has heard about our Dare to Dream train project and would like to visit our school to discuss this project with the children.

On Tuesday 5th October the Reverend Barbara will be in school to help our children celebrate Harvest Festival. We are hoping for donations to go to the local food bank in Spennymoor.

On Friday 1st October Spennymoor Firebrigade will be coming into school to raise awareness of the dangers of fireworks and will be encouraging the children to stay safe and enjoy them from a distance.
